Lafayette, CA – Ann Appert has been named Lafayette’s 2025 Citizen of the Year, marking the 74th person to receive this prestigious honor. The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce’s independent selection committee recognized Appert for her extensive contributions to the community over many years. Appert’s selection as Citizen of the Year will be celebrated at a dinner on Thursday, April 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa. The event, which is expected to draw community members and supporters, highlights the significant role she has played in Lafayette’s development and growth.
